Cross Cultural Communication is a registered association in Austria that promotes, enhances and supports international cultural contacts from African persepctive through projects. Our aim is to support integration of culture in communication and dialogue to enhance peace and conflict resolution for our world.
During the last 30 years CCC launched diverse art projects in cooperation with many artists and organsations such as exhibitions "Afromedi@rt Exhibition of African Media Art" in Vienna and "L'aiye l'aiye Africa" in Krems, Austria (1998), digital art projects "@rtScreen - Art and Culture in the Public Space " (2001), at the "Ars Electronica Festival - unplugged Art as Scene of Global Conflicts" in Linz (2002), "Palace of Light" (2003), "Pop-up African Museum Phase One - Unveiling Ancient and Modern African Art Treasures" (2018-2019), "Pop-Up African Museum Phase Two - Spirit of Africa" (2019-2020) all in Vienna, "Transformarte" in Eisenstadt (2019), the Erasmus-Euro-Media-Award-winning tv-programme "30' African Art" (2006-2008), award-winning filmproduction "Der Andere" (1999), theater productions (1991-1996), festivals (1997-2003), university lectures and numerous panel discussions, to mention a few .
